About these terms

These terms apply when you use the trowd. app or website, run by [Company name] (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Your account

• You must be [16] or over, and the phone numbers and emails you add must be yours.
• One account per person. Keep your phone and email secure: sign-in codes are sent to them.

Reviews

• Review only places you’ve been to and things you’ve used yourself, honestly.
• No fake reviews, and no reviews you’ve been paid for or offered anything for (other than trowd. rewards, which never depend on what you say).
• Nothing hateful, threatening, bullying or unsuitable, and no one else’s private information.
• We blank out swear words, check photos before others see them, and may hide or remove content that breaks these rules or that people report.
• Your reviews stay yours. You let us store them and show them to the people you choose, for as long as they’re on trowd.

How trowd. stays fair

Nobody can pay trowd. to rank higher or hide a review. Businesses can reply to reviews and appeal ones they believe break these rules, but they can’t remove or change reviews themselves, and paying us never changes an appeal’s outcome. Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not ours.

Rewards

• trowd. points have no cash value and can’t be sold or transferred. Swapping them for air miles depends on our partner’s terms, when available.
• Points for reviews have a monthly limit. We may remove points earned by mistake or through misuse.
• A business’s own rewards are provided by that business.
• If you delete your account, your points and unused rewards are deleted too.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time (Account → Delete my account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, for example fake reviews or harassment.

Our responsibility
